I have found a widget to place a Twitter Feed in the sidebar.  It’s just to the left.  Yes, I am close to launching this.

It will be, I think, the first Twitter comic book … at least, I haven’t seen another yet.  Not a novel–nothing so noble–but a serial, told in issues (“feeds”) at regular intervals, the way a comic book would be told.  Each “tweet” in the feed will approximate one panel of a comic story, or a word balloon; that’s how I’m approaching it, though I’m sure it won’t be quite so cut-and-dry once I start writing.

The story will begin, honestly, as somewhat standard superhero fare.  I apologize in advance for starting in such a mundane way, but I’m curious as to how the genre will fit into the medium, and as such I didn’t want to drift too far afield.  But I assure you that my idea has its own unique spin on the superhero story, and I also promise that there’s more depth to the tale than might first appear.

If I feel confident, and if I get a few more subscribers, I could start as early as this weekend.  So if you have a Twitter account and want to support the experiment, please subscribe to the @hudsonweb feed and then tell a freind to subscribe, too.  I thrive off of an audience.

    Hudson,

I know you are obsessed with having the audience before you start writing to get and keep you motivated, but you know what will bring you the audience? Just do it. If it’s good and interesting, and people like Dean, Barry, and I talk it up around the bend a bit, then people will come by. And they will have a bunch of tweets, feeds, “comics,” and such to read.

So just start doing it already and then see what happens.
